Meet Carrie L
Managing Partner
Carrie is the founder of Eastridge Hospitality, a results-driven asset management and advisory firm focused on optimizing returns for luxury and upscale resorts in the U.S., Mexico, and the Caribbean. Her clients include family office and high net worth investors with luxury and strategic assets, including a complex repositioning and marquee brand launch for a $325 million asset in Silicon Valley.
In her former role as VP of Asset Management for Hilton, she oversaw a $5 billion portfolio of owned, leased, and joint-venture assets, which represented 20% of the company’s enterprise value on an EBITDA contribution basis. Carrie was responsible for administering $100 million in annual capital reinvestment plans across some of Hilton’s most valuable and iconic hotels in Hawaii, California, New Orleans, and other markets. As a part of her value-creation efforts, she spearheaded dozens of complex value-enhancement projects to remove real estate encumbrances, optimize space utilization to create new revenue streams, and reposition or reconfigure food and beverage platforms to increase profitability.
Prior to her time at Hilton, Carrie was aggressively recruited by RLJ Lodging Trust and joined the company during a time of rapid growth. She was quickly entrusted with the most valuable real estate in the company’s portfolio—comprising nearly $1 billion in enterprise value—and worked diligently with management companies to consistently grow market share and improve profit margins, achieving market share growth and margin preservation during the recession of 2008. Her geographic regions included New York City, Los Angeles, Denver, Austin, Houston, and Dallas.
Early in her career, Carrie was an award-winning hotel operator who earned honors such as Highest Profitability and Highest Associate Satisfaction within a large management company, and Most Improved RevPAR and Most Improved Guest Satisfaction Scores within a Marriott hotel brand. She was quickly identified as a turnaround specialist and later entrusted with responsibility for oversight of a large group of assets, which were some of the highest valued hotels in the company’s portfolio.
Carrie is a graduate of University of Massachusetts at Amherst with a bachelor’s degree in hospitality and tourism management.
